Ai Art Showcase

creative robot wrangling

As a creative person, I am always looking for new ways to challenge the status quo, new sources of inspiration and new ways to challenge myself. Ai has been a game changer. While it’s uses are still being completely defined. As well as many other aspects of intellectual properties and simple moral implications, I think there is a viable use of Ai.

Here are a few of the images I have generated out of the approximate 12,000 images I have generated in the last 18 months.

SKULLS!

Yes, if given the chance when testing out a new medium, I will more than likely use it to make a skull. Much like attacking a blank notebook cover in middle school, I had to play with phrases like “flaming robot skull” just to see what sort of magic would be produced.

Apex Predators

The goal was to explore some very impactful pieces of art around extremely dynamic moments with apex predators. Ai afforded some great inspiration for composition and color use, while also just cranking out some pretty badass pieces.

Pop Art

When an exploration in art style can show how easily a broad range of subject matter can overlap to appeal to a certain person, Ai is indispensable. The guess work in trying to describe the concept even to an internal team is gone. A little less time wasted exploring. And a little more time spent discovering.

Car Art

What if you could commission Edward Hopper or Andrew Wyeth to paint classic American muscle cars? Now we can find out what that would be like. A collaboration that spans generations.

Sci Fi Concept Art

As a consumate creative, my brain is always working. One of my wishes in the past were “What would it be like to brainstorm with Alex Raymond?” Now I can get a slight glimpse of how he might visualize my thoughts as a way to offer endless inspiration on crafting a concept into some visual form.

Robot Zombies

Imagine if Syd Mead would have created concept art for a sci-fi thriller where a utopian island city where robots and humans co-exist is upended by a computer virus that turns the robots into mindless zombies? I love the richness of the retro look to the concept art that adds a whole new layer to the idea. Here are just a few of the images I created.
