AR EXPLORATION GAME MEETS EXPERIMENTAL IMMERSIVE TRANSMEDIA NARRTIVES

Grind Alley is an infinite battlefield where a perpetual war has raged since the beginning of time. In this realm, where a million dimensions collide, no living thing can exist. Our mechanical protectors have sworn to defend all known realities.

The forces of good, battle mechs from different worlds, fight against the combined darkness of a million dimensions, known as Nightfall. This evil entity aims to plunge as many realities into darkness as possible.

When hope was nearly lost, an elite squad of mechs discovered a weakness in Nightfall’s defenses. However, before they could strike, Nightfall scattered the mech army across countless dimensions. Now, with the Grind unprotected, the enemy regains its strength.

A small group has found a way to locate the lost mechs by scanning the fabric of space and time. These mechs need to be found, reactivated, and retrained to defend the Grind once more.

Help find the protectors and rebuild the armies.

NARRATIVE PART TWO - ANIMATION

PICKING UP WHERE THE GAME LEAVES OFF, THE NARRATIVE CAN FURTHER BE DEVELOPED VIA AN EXTENSIVE SEGUE IN AN ANIMATED SERIES, TO SET THE STAGE FOR THE NEXT LEVEL OF GAME PLAY.

NARRATIVE BREAKDOWN OF THE EVENTS LEADING UP TO THE GAME

Act 1: The Breach

Scene 1: "Without Warning"

  • A serene evening in a bustling urban setting is disrupted by a sudden rupture, unleashing monstrous mechanical creatures. The creatures cause chaos and seem to be searching for something specific.


Scene 2: "Echoes from the Abyss"

  • After causing significant destruction, the creatures vanish. Governments and scientists are puzzled, with many dismissing the event as a hoax or malfunction. Simultaneously, a secret meeting of corporate-political elites reveals their prior knowledge of such breaches.


Scene 3: "Alley's Awakening"

  • A group of scientists, supported by an emerging resistance, discovers the Alley—a weakening barrier between realities. They uncover ancient artifacts indicating our reality's significance, drawing the attention of powerful entities.


Act 2: The War and Underlying Conspiracy

Scene 4: "Machines and Mystics"

  • Mechs are introduced as a defense mechanism against increasing breaches. These marvels of technology infused with arcane arts become central to the resistance. However, the resistance is wary of the tech's origins and potential corporate control.


Scene 5: "Shadows of the Nexus"

  • Breaches become more frequent, leading to widespread skirmishes. Rumors of "The Void Seekers," a cult with a dark purpose and elite backing, spread. Tensions rise within the resistance as they confront the mech leadership about hidden agendas.


Scene 6: "Strings of Control"

  • The mechs receive advanced weaponry from corporate sponsors, raising suspicions of ulterior motives. A breakthrough in the scientists' research reveals the significance of an artifact called "The Keystone," which could stabilize or destroy the Alley.


Act 3: Final Stand and Scattering

Scene 7: "The Keystone Quest"

  • As reality weakens, a race ensues to find the Keystone. The Void Seekers, supported by elite allies, get closer to the artifact. The resistance, alongside dedicated mech pilots, embarks on a mission to secure it.


Scene 8: "Guardians United"

  • A climactic battle unfolds near the Keystone's location. Allies and foes clash, with the future of countless realities at stake. A brave pilot uses the Keystone to temporarily stabilize the Alley, thwarting the immediate threat.


Scene 9: "Fractured Realms"

  • In a final desperate move, Shadow Nexus scatters the mech army across countless micro-dimensions. Each mech is deactivated and their memories erased. The season ends with the haunting image of multiple realities, shimmering and unstable, and the continued vigilance required to guard the Grind.
